The new HR manager is on the move
Google’s new HR director is on a mission to transform human resources at the company.
Cheryl Bhatia has joined Google’s HR team, becoming the first Indian-born director of HR.
Bhatia joined Google in 2016 from SAP, a technology company that has been under fire for its hiring practices.
The company has been trying to improve its HR processes and has hired hundreds of employees in recent years.
The HR director has to be able to communicate effectively with managers, who are constantly seeking feedback and input on how they are performing and how to improve.
She will also have to deal with the challenges of integrating with different companies.
“In HR, you have a lot of different roles and responsibilities.
This new HR head is an extension of that.
She is an integral part of that,” said Rajesh Kumar, senior vice president of human resources and operations at SAP.”
I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Cheryl.
She has a track record of leading the way in her industry, and she is going to help us deliver great experiences for our customers,” Kumar added.
Bathory, who is currently with Microsoft in Seattle, has been with Google for six years and was a senior vice-president in HR before taking on the new role.
Bhattia, who was also named the first female director of human resource at SAP, was a deputy general manager in HR in San Francisco from 2012 to 2016.
She also worked at Facebook in Silicon Valley, where she served as general manager of global HR and human resources.
She also served as the global HR director for Facebook for two years.
