How to protect yourself from the cyber-attacks
Cyber-attacks have taken down scores of government and private organizations across the nation, including the Pentagon.
But the federal government isn’t immune to the onslaught.
The Federal Government and the Defense Department are currently facing two separate cyber-threats, the Pentagon said Friday.
One threat comes from the Russian government, and the other comes from China, according to the Pentagon’s statement.
The Department of Defense is coordinating with the National Security Agency to share cyber-security information and intelligence to enhance our national defense.
We also will provide support to our Cyber Command to share and coordinate information and capabilities that can help us protect our nation.
The first threat, according the Pentagon, is from Russia, which is accused of hacking and leaking information about the Pentagon and its cyber operations.
The second threat comes out of China, which has threatened the United States with nuclear strikes if the United Kingdom does not comply with its terms.
